George Floyd Autopsy: Overdose, Not Life-threatening Injuries, Cited.

Medical experts from the American district of Hennepin (Minneapolis), concluded that the principle cause of George Floyd’s death was drug overdose, and not life-threatening injuries, according to the autopsy published on the third anniversary of his death in The New York Times.

They say that fentanyl derivatives, cannabinoids, amphetamine and other toxic drugs were found in the black American’s blood.

During his May 2020 arrest, officer Derek Chauvin pressed Floyd with his knee until he lost consciousness and later died, sparking a wave of riots and the rise of the BLM movement. Chauvin was sentenced to 22 and a half years in prison.
